Known for a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, Bioengineering research at Illinois involves 67 faculty from several colleges on campus — Engineering; Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences; Veterinary Medicine; the new Carle Illinois College of Medicine; and the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology.
