Online | 36 Credit Hours | Capstone Experience
The MS in Biomedical Image Computing (MS in BIC) degree program is also offered through an online platform, awarding the exact same degree as the in-person program. Designed for those seeking to develop and apply AI- and computing-driven solutions in biomedical imaging and healthcare data, this professional, non-thesis program equips students with skills in biomedical imaging, machine learning, and high-performance computing. The flexibility of the online format makes it an excellent choice for students pursuing advanced graduate education while working. Students in the online program also complete a capstone project.
The online degree can be completed in as few as three semesters, depending on course load, with up to five years to finish. All online students have access to recorded lectures and follow the same syllabus, assignments, exams, and projects as in-person students. Instructors are available for virtual office hours and to answer questions.
