Department of Bioengineering - Postdoctoral Research Associate in Rehabilitation
(Clinical Research Focused)

The Yang laboratories within the Department of Bioengineering and Carle Foundation Hospital are focused on investigating neural mechanisms underlying movement impairments post-stroke and developing targeted therapeutical interventions to facilitate motor recovery. This interdisciplinary research integrates neural engineering approaches and human subject experiments, based on multi-modal brain imaging, non-invasive brain stimulation, electrophysiology signals, robotic devices, and data sciences.

Visiting Research Specialist 

The Department of Bioengineering in The Grainger College of Engineering seeks applicants for a Visiting Research Specialist position in Dr. Yang Liu’s laboratory. The Visiting Research Specialist conducts research in cell and tissue staining and imaging, analyzes data, and reports on scientific experiments in a biomedical optical imaging laboratory.  This position also manages laboratory supplies, operates advanced microscopy systems, and trains new students, while documenting protocols and ensuring laboratory safety and efficiency.

We are excited to announce an opening for a postdoctoral research associate to work in large-scale bioimage informatics and computational imaging at the Department of Bioengineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Our laboratory is located at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, a leading institution for biomedical imaging.
