Favorite university memory:  At the beginning of the second semester of sophomore year, there was a three day weekend that coincided with a lunar eclipse. A bunch of BioE's all came over to look at the red moon together, and then we piled into my tiny dorm room with blankets and snacks to watch "Interstellar." While there's nothing super fancy about having a movie night, it was the people who made this occasion (and my college experience overall) special.

I want to give a special shout out to:  Laura, the wonderful front desk worker during our freshman and sophomore years! She was always willing to lend an ear if we needed someone to talk to, and was always stocked up on candy to give to stressed-out students. Laura made BIOE feel incredibly welcoming from the very beginning.
