Additional Requirements for International Students

In addition to the above documents, international students need to provide:

  • Certification of Degree for all academic degrees obtained. (If you have not yet graduated, you do not need to submit this certification until you arrive at the University of Illinois.)

  • TOEFL information — Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit proof of English proficiency with an acceptable TOEFL or IELTS score or by qualifying for an English proficiency waiver. Score and waiver requirements are listed here.
