Description

Ferritiva is currently developing an at-home, saliva based iron deficiency screening tool using LFIAs. A device that can quantify these test results is needed. LFIA quantifying devices exist, but a low cost and accurate device is needed to be able to sell direct to consumers. Ferritiva seeks to create a low cost, low power LFIA protein quantifying device using digital signal processing, low cost CMOS sensors, LEDs, and micro controllers. Ideally this would be included in the retail packaging, providing consumers knowledge about their ferritin levels.
