Favorite university memory: My favorite memory was when the Everitt Lab first opened up and our department actually had its own building for us to attend lectures in. Everything was completely new and it was nice to have small amenities like chargers for every seat at a table or access to small study rooms.

Immediate future plans: I am happy to begin working for AveXis in Libertyville, IL as a BioProcess Engineer I at the end of May. I am very excited to become a part of a company with a mission to develop life-saving gene therapies that help those with rare genetic diseases!

Future plans (5-10 years): I hope to gain experience and learn more about the treatments that AveXis offers and eventually work my way up to a Research & Development position at their San Diego location.
