Description
A drug-eluting plate or coated plate that inhibits bone growth selectively on the outer side, so that the plate would essentially stay on the outside of the bone rather than become submerged into the core as new bone grows and heals. Therefore, in the case where the plate would need to be removed, it would be easily accessible.
