Many Bioengineering students gain leadership experience and hands-on, project-focused training by participating in the local chapter of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) and the College’s annual Engineering Open House, where students showcase exciting advances in bioengineering for more than 10,000 campus visitors over two days in March. In a typical year, Bioengineering students will receive more than 25 percent of EOH project awards, even though they represent only three percent of the College’s student population. Bravo, Bioengineers!
