Known for a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, Bioengineering research at Illinois involves 67 faculty from several colleges on campus — EngineeringAgricultural, Consumer and Environmental SciencesVeterinary Medicine; the new Carle Illinois College of Medicine; and the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Our faculty and their students are developing technology and methods that will fundamentally change how medicine is practiced in the 21st century.
